The People Behind WeSkate

  • Noam Revkin Fenton

Noam is a co-founder of WeSkate. Noam has been an activist in the skateboarding scene since he was 15, when he began the campaign for Jerusalem’s first professional skate park in Jerusalem, later opened as the Liberty Bell Park Skate Park. Noam is a freelance news photographer and a teacher at the Democratic Sudbury School in Jerusalem.

  • Paola Ruiloba

Paola is a board member of WeSkate, and co-founder of J.S.G - Jerusalem Skater Girls, which has promoted and encouraged girls and women to skate for over a decade. When she isn’t skating, she fills her time with work in high tech.

  • Noam Beer Jimmy

Noam, better known as Jimmy, is a board member of WeSkate. More importantly, he is one of the leading skateboarders in Israel, and the nicest guy we know. Unlike the rest of us, who have to find some other way of supporting ourselves, Jimmy owns and operates Skate School IL - Israel’s largest skateboarding school, operating throughout Israel.

  • Nancy Katz

Nancy co-founded WeSkate, and is a board member as well. After years of driving her youngest daughter to the skate park, and waiting to take her home, Nancy fell in love with the scene and asked and received said daughter’s permission to take lessons. She’s been active in the skateboarding scene ever since, when not busy with her day job as a non-profit legal counsel.
